Developed and run by school boards, Ontario EcoSchools also helps improve school building operations to reduce environmental impacts.

Toronto and Region Conservation (TRCA) is a leader in environmental education and has been delivering innovative learning programs since 1954. Take your class to one of their unique facilities located in and around the Greater Toronto Area.
The Toronto and Region Conservation Authority also offers Professional Development workshops for teachers. These sessions can be held at TRCA Educational facilities, allowing deeper exploration of certain topics than might be possible in a school setting.
Trees for Life Canada Inc. (TFL CANADA) is a provincially and federally registered non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to promoting and providing resources for early age environmental education. TFL Canada prepared the "Grow-A-Tree" project which includes: educational materials, tree seeds and biodegradable growing cartons as well as care instructions for the developing trees. The kits are offered to schools for use with Kindergarten to Grade Six students.
