Now it’s even easier to keep Pickering Parks clean. Residents can use biodegradable bags provided by the City when stooping & scooping in the pet-friendly areas listed below. Dog waste is removed on a regular basis and disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner.

 

Pickering’s Dog Waste Diversion Project is available at the following parks:

 

 

 

 

Instead of going to a landfill, the dog waste is processed and disposed of at the Region of Durham’s Duffins Creek Sewer Treatment Plant.
